Since 2014 Emma has featured in lead and supporting roles in two feature films, twelve short films and a TV Series, many of which have featured in International Film Festivals and been nominated for and won awards. Here are a few of them. For all film work please see CV page.

1. Mercy in TRACES OF SUBURBIA (2019, Chicago Indie Film Festival, 2020, dir. Bautista Botto Barili). Traces of Suburbia Follows the life of Mercy post-alcoholism. Her beautiful suburban family begins to crack with tensions oozing out, as their reality blurs to offer a more introspective recording.

2. Abbey in SQUARE PEG ROUND HOLE (IMDB, 2021, dir. B.Welby Delamere). Winner, Best of Festival, Champion Film Salon International Film Festival 2021. The moving story of a single Mother and her ten year old Daughter as they together attempt to navigate the UK’s eduction system, whilst battling with the reality of of an all-too often undiagnosed autism in young girls. 

3. Carlotta in PANDA (IMDB, dir. Sasha Briggs). On Antonia’s 27th birthday, her estranged mother pays a surprise visit. Trying to pull herself together, she imagines a conversation she would have with her twin brother, Leonardo, who died 10 years earlier.

4. DI Lane Owens in DOOR IN THE WALL (IMDB, dir. Sean Gavey). Detective Lana Owens’ long career has left her unable to connect with those around her, incapable of opening up to her family and lost for explanation at the scene of an apparent suicide.

5. Anna in THE BOTTLE (IMDB, dir. Sam Windle). A recovering alcoholic fights against relapsing as he reflects on his past, which is all too similar to the present, as he stares at the bottle as if staring down the barrel of a gun.
